The draining and filling of a system, isolating pumps and fire panels adds unnecessary hours onto a job. Pipe freezing only isolates the part of the system being worked on, often saving thousands of liters of water and time, also leaving the building protected by the sprinkler or hydrant system at the same time as the required works.
At RC Fire Protection we are able to freeze steel and copper pipe using liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide with diameters ranging from 10mm up to 300mm, whist carrying out repairs or installations.
