Emergency & Exit Lighting

Australian Standards AS1851-2021 states that exit signs and emergency lighting must stay illuminated for a minimum of 90 minutes in case of a black out or even thick smoke obstructing visibility.

The Australian Standards and most N.S.W. local council requirements also state that exit signage and emergency lighting must be bi annually and annually tested.

• 6 Monthly : 90 minute power drop test

• Annual : 90 minute power drop test

RC Fire Protection supplies, installs and maintains emergency and exit lighting in accordance with Australian Standards AS2293 and testing to AS 1851. As part of our services we provide certification to comply with various requirements such as Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS), Building Code of Australia (BCA).
